Early Years Educator Apprenticeship Level 3

Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship is an excellent opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge needed to work effectively with young children. It provides a pathway to a fulfilling and rewarding career in early years education and care. What will be studied?

The apprenticeship covers a range of Early Years-related skills, including:

  • Child Development and learning
  • Safeguarding
  • Health and Safety in Early Years settings
  • Observing and assessing childrens progress

How will I be assessed?

The apprenticeship is assessed through an end-point assessment, which includes a professional discussion and knowledge test.

What do I need?

A minimum of grade 3 in GCSE Maths and grade 4 in GCSE English at grade 4. (You will need to resit GCSE Maths alongside the Apprenticeship if you do not have a grade 4 or above).

The apprenticeship is open to anyone who is 16 or over and not in full-time education. It is suitable for both school leavers and people who are already working in an Early Years role but want to gain formal qualifications.

Where can it take me?

You will gain a nationally recognised qualification in Early Years Education and Care.

The Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship is a work-based training program designed to develop the skills and knowledge needed to work in a range of early years settings, such as nurseries, pre-schools, and reception classes. The apprenticeship combines on-the-job training with classroom learning, allowing you to develop practical skills while gaining theoretical knowledge.
