Why study this course?
As a cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for the students and staff.
The ideal candidate will have previous cleaning experience and be able to work independently.
If successful, there are part time positions available for 2 hours a day Monday – Friday from 3:30pm.
Course content
You will learn:
- The role of a school cleaner
- Emergency first aid
- Challenges & Rewards in a School Cleaner Role / Time Management
- COSHH/PPE/IPC/Cleaning Techniques
- Effective Listening Skills & Questioning Techniques
- Resilience within the Workplace & Mental Health & Wellbeing
- Mock interviews
Entry requirements
- Experience in cleaning is necessary
- Subject to DBS
- Must be 19+
- At least Level 1 in English, both spoken and written
- 2 previous references required within the last 2 years
