Course content
The L2 Certificate is a three-unit introduction to the subject of health and social care, offering learners the opportunity to broaden their knowledge and understanding of: Human Growth and Development; Equality, Diversity and Inclusion; Safeguarding in Health and Social Care.Each unit provides an essential foundation of knowledge for any learner interested in working in the sector or progressing onto further study in this subject.
The course is assessed internally via a range of assessment tasks that include written assignments and presentations. It is important to note that the course is 100% coursework, no externally assessed exams. Each assessment will be marked and graded by your lecturer and then returned to you along with useful feedback and tips for improvement.
