If you are already working, or aspire to work, in the field of credit management or credit control, our Chartered Institute of Credit Management Level 3 Diploma course in Credit and Collections will provide you with the core knowledge and skills to establish your reputation as a practitioner operating with high levels of professional expertise.

Roles such as credit control seniors, team leaders, cash collections specialists, credit analysts, enforcement agents and people involved in credit and enforcement will directly benefit from this qualification.

Course content

Students will engage with the following areas of study delivered through four discrete modules which comprise the Level 3 Diploma:

  • Credit Management (Trade, Consumer and Export)
  • Business Environment
  • Business Law (Coming soon)
  • Accounting Principles (Coming soon)

On successful completion of the four modules, you will achieve the CICM Level 3 Diploma which entitles you to use the designatory letters ACICM(Dip).

The first two modules will be delivered between January 2025 and July 2025, with the remaining two modules between September 2025 and February 2026.

Assessment for all modules except Accounting Principles is via an online test which you can arrange to be taken at any date and time. The Accounting Principles exam is arranged through the college in line with the test dates set by CICM.

You can progress to the Level 5 Diploma in Credit and Collections Management and attain MCICM(Grad) status.

Entry Requirements

There are no specific entry requirements for this qualification, although GCSE or Level 2 English and maths are recommended. You should ideally be working within an organisation or role where you can demonstrate your skills and apply knowledge. Alternatively, you could draw on previous experience within an organisation or use an organisation you are familiar with to measure the knowledge gained.

Fees

The fee for Module 1 is £350.00 payable to Halesowen College.

The fee for Module 2 is also £350.00 and paid in April when that module starts.

The fees for the Study Text and Exam Entry are not paid to the college but directly to CICM.
