Halesowen College will be opening its doors to potential new students for its Open Day on Saturday 14 October.

Prospective students can meet staff, find out about a range of courses and explore the outstanding campus from 10am to 4pm.

Visitors will also be able to attend a number of special events including campus tours, coach service talks and a range of performances from Music, Dance, Drama and Musical Theatre students. There will also be talks on new T-Level courses in Accounting, Digital, Early Years, Health and Management & Administration.

T-Level courses are equivalent to three A levels and are a mixture of classroom and on the job training with at least 45 days at a work placement.

The College’s Apprenticeship team will also be on hand to offer advice to anyone looking for an apprenticeship.

The College offers a wide range of courses including over 30 A Level subjects, a variety of vocational subjects, T Levels, Apprenticeships, Higher Education and Courses for Adults.

The College’s facilities have received a massive investment boost of over £20 million with a brand-new student facility, ‘The Hub’, a contemporary training environment for Catering students, ‘Bistro at B63’ as well as a new Business School and A Level Hub. The College also has new Esports and Cyber Security Labs.

Visitors will also be able to find out more about the College’s coach service, which transports students in a safe, environmentally friendly way.

Principal Jacquie Carman said: “This October Open Day kicks off the new admissions cycle and we are really excited to meet potential new students and their parents”.

“There is always a great atmosphere with lots of fun activities taking place. We have a wide range of courses and opportunities available for everyone, so come along and find out what we have to offer.”

Other Open Days are Wednesday 8 November 4pm-7pm, Saturday 20 January 10am-2pm and Wednesday 24 April 6pm-8pm
