Halesowen College is only the second organisation in the UK to receive a Gold Award for safeguarding. 

The College has been awarded the Leaders in Safeguarding Gold Award for its outstanding support for students. 

The College has an extensive team which provides advice and support for students including one on one support, counselling, well being and advice. The team supports hundreds of students with personal issues inside and outside of the classroom. 

To receive the award the College’s safeguarding arrangements were thoroughly examined by an auditor and quality assured by the Leaders in Safeguarding’s Scrutiny and Validation Panel.
