When is my induction slot? I haven’t had my text/email yet.
You will receive a text message and email from us on Friday 27th August. Everyone’s slot is different, so don’t assume you start on the same day or time as your friends.
If you haven’t heard from us yet, that means your enrolment isn’t complete and we’ll be in touch with you soon. Or, you can contact us on Tuesday 31st August for an update using live chat.
What do I need to bring with me for induction?
You don’t need to bring anything with you, although a pen and paper might be useful to take notes.
When do my lessons start?
Full time classes will begin w/c 6th September
Adult and Higher Education classes will begin w/c 13th September
I can’t make my induction slot. What should I do?
We would encourage you to attend your induction slot wherever possible, as you’ll receive lots of useful information during the session. If you do not attend for your slot, don’t worry, we’ll be in touch to let you know the arrangements for the first week of teaching.
Where do I need to go when I get there?
Whether you’re using the college coaches or getting dropped off, on arrival you’ll need to go to the entrance next to reception (car park A). There will be plenty of members of staff on hand to help you, and guide you around the campus.
When do I get my timetable?
You will get your full timetable at your induction slot.
When do I get my ID card?
You will get your ID card at your induction slot. You will need your ID card to board the coaches from w/c 6th September.
What bus route am I on? How do I know where it will collect me?
Your bus route will be provided in the induction text/email on Friday 27th August.
You won’t need anything to get on the coaches during induction week, although as soon as you receive your ID card you are expected to wear it at all times when on one of our campuses or coaches.
Normal timetables will run during induction week and continue when classes start w/c 6th September.
