If you are a practising teamleader/supervisor or aspiring manager who supervises or manages a team to achieve clearly defined outcomes, this course will equip you with the skills to take your career to the next level. Ideally, you will set and monitor goals and objectives by providing instruction, direction and guidance. Progression from the Level 3 Diploma can be to a Level 4 Diploma or you may opt to go straight to a Level 5 Diploma, which is equivalent to 2nd year university degree standard.  Students who complete a Level 3 Diploma will receive the designatory letters fCMgr after their name which will elevate your status in terms of both your CV and future job applications.

Being equipped with the knowledge, skills and behaviours to manage and lead effectively is essential if an individual and their organisation are to succeed. This course introduces the foundational elements for managers providing a firm platform upon which you can build a successful career and enhance your earning potential.

Students will engage with the following areas of management and leadership:

• Principles of Management and Leadership
• Managing teams to produce effective results
• Working with stakeholders
• Change management
• Supporting successful projects
• Managing a budget
• Planning and implementing your own personal and professional development

There are no specific entry requirements for this qualification, although GCSE English and maths are recommended, but as a student you should ideally be working within an organisation or role where you can demonstrate skills and apply knowledge. Alternatively, you could draw on previous experience within an organisation or use an organisation you are familiar with.
